Refund, return & cancellation policy
Please read this before you pay. It explains exactly when a card payment can be cancelled or refunded, and the limits that apply to National Insurance contributions.

Before you pay — cancelling
You may cancel at any point before you press the pay button; nothing is charged. Once a payment is authorised by your bank it cannot be cancelled, only refunded under the conditions below.
National Insurance contribution payments — limited refund
Please note carefully: contribution amounts remitted to the National Insurance and Social Security Service are generally NOT refundable, because they are credited to your contribution record and count toward your benefits.
A refund of the contribution amount will only be made where there has been a genuine error — for example a duplicate charge for the same period, a charge made after the contribution was already paid by another method, or an amount clearly in excess of the contribution assessed. Approved refunds of this kind are made back to the card originally charged.
The card processing fee (3.8% + BBD $1.25) is charged by the acquiring bank and gateway and is non-refundable once a payment has been authorised, except where the whole transaction was a duplicate or system error, in which case the full amount including the fee is returned.
Invoice payments between a business and its client
When you pay a TradeDesk invoice, you are paying the business that issued it, not TradeDesk. Refunds for goods or services on an invoice are agreed with that business directly and are governed by its own refund terms, which should be stated on the invoice. TradeDesk will process a refund instructed by the issuing business back to the card originally charged.
No returns — digital service
TradeDesk is a digital service and no physical goods are supplied, so there is nothing to return. TradeDesk accounts and features are free, so there are no subscription charges to cancel or refund.
How to request a refund and how long it takes
Contact us within 30 days of the charge at support@nis.gov.bb or (246) 431-7400 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. AST) with the transaction reference shown on your receipt. You may also raise a support ticket inside your account.
We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and decide within 10 business days. Approved refunds are submitted immediately; your bank normally shows the credit within 5 to 10 business days. All refunds are made in Barbados Dollars to the original card — we cannot refund to a different card, to cash or by bank transfer.
Disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback. Our permanent establishment and contact details are set out below, and the transaction currency for every payment is Barbados Dollars (BBD).
